Sawyer VS Kate

 

SAWYER:  ... But if you want a drink, you gotta play.

KATE:  Play what?

SAWYER:  "I never".

KATE:  What?

SAWYER:  "I never".

KATE:  Am I supposed to know what that means?

SAWYER:  Call it a way to get to know each other better.  For example, I know you've never been to college.

KATE:  And how do you know that?

SAWYER:  If you had, you'd have heard of "I never." It's simple. You say "I never," and then you finish the sentence. If it's something you did, you drink. If it's something you never did, you don't drink.

KATE:  That makes absolutely no sense.

SAWYER:  Learn by example.  I never kissed a man.  Now you drink, 'cause you've kissed a man. (Kate drinks.) Your turn.

KATE:  I never implied that I've been to college when I never have.

(Sawyer takes a drink.) 

SAWYER:  I never been to Disneyland.

(Kate looks at Sawyer.  She doesn't make a move to drink.) 

SAWYER:  Oh, that's just sad!

(Kate holds up her bottle showing him that she's not taking that drink.) 

KATE:  I never wore pink.

(Sawyer reluctantly uncaps his bottle and drinks.) 

(Kate laughs.) 

KATE:  I knew it!

SAWYER:  (explains)  The Eighties.

KATE:  Mm-hmm.

SAWYER:  I never voted democrat.

KATE:  I never voted.

(She doesn't drink, but he does.) 

(He thinks about it.) 

SAWYER:  I've never been in love.

KATE:  (surprised)  You've never been in love?

SAWYER:  I ain't drinking, am I?

(Kate takes a drink.) 

KATE:  I've never had a one-night stand.

(Sawyer throws up his hand and takes a lo-o-ong drink.) 

KATE:  Bottom's up, sailor.

(He coughs a bit and looks at his nearly empty bottle.) 

SAWYER:  I gotta drink for each one.

KATE:  Your turn.

SAWYER:  I never been married.

(Kate takes a really small sip.)

KATE:  (explains) It didn't last very long.  (Her turn.  She caps her bottle.) I've never blamed a boar for all my problems.

(Oh, yeah.  Sawyer takes a drink.) 

SAWYER:  I never cared about having carte blanche 'cause I just wanted to spend some time with the only other person on this island that just don't belong.

(Kate looks at Sawyer, smiles a little and takes that drink.) 

KATE:  I never carried a letter around for twenty years because I couldn't get over my baggage.

(Sawyer's eyes slide over to Kate.  He drinks.) 

SAWYER:  I never killed a man.

(Sawyer watches Kate.  Kate doesn't make a move to drink.  He doesn't believe her.) 

(Finally, Kate takes a drink.) 

(After a beat, Sawyer takes his own drink as well.) 

SAWYER:  (drolly)  Well ... it looks like we got something in common after all.

每次一个人“坐”车，就会打量车厢里的人。这样做有时会引起别人的注意，会有反馈。总觉得车厢蕴藏着很特别的东西，因为它，不相识的人被迫共处在一个空间。然而每个人都怀着各自的故事和心事，从不同的地方上车，下车向不同的地方而去。为别人扣上我的假想，再自鸣得意一番，乐趣无穷。

《Lost》满足了这种乐趣。最喜欢的部分是讲述角色的过去，为什么来到这架飞机上的原因。

 

如果有一天我乘上飞机，不知会是飞去哪儿，不知是要追寻什么。而我又会在我的冥想盆里留下哪些记忆碎片呢？

这时候，沙发上的那本绿色封面的书已经合上了。可是，故事还未完。

 

为什么会比小天狼星那次更难受？为什么不可思议地害怕担忧起来？哈利，会不会也为了那个“愚蠢而崇高的理由”死去？下次的代价会不会是他，她，或是她？他那么信任的他……真的是真的么，再没有转圜的余地了？

 

相信他吧，相信“爱”会成为最强大的武器，哈利！

忽然想听王菲的这首《飞》——想到或许再没有新的歌词从她口中唱出——想到就此终结的一段岁月，有她的歌声陪伴的我的岁月——想到另一个人Michael Jordan——想到那是意味着，我心中的“日月”都挥别了我。

两部《天堂的孩子》，第一部（亦称《小鞋子》）缘起丢鞋子，第二部则是赶考。

这样的电影也不知看了有没有副作用，因为越是看得入心越是感觉到，自己的人生和心灵是多么贫穷和浑浊。不过即使如此，也实在庆幸自己看过了。
